EXPERIENCE

I have over twenty years experience working in mental health services for adults, a registered mental health nurse from 2001, and cognitive behaviour therapist from 2010. I am passionate about helping people find their footing and regain their balance in the way they think, feel and show up in the world.

I have experience working with people with ADHD and those suffering from anxiety and those who experienced trauma in childhood, and at any other time in their life.

I have lived experience of life difficulties that led me to have personal psychological therapy and can attest from that point of view how helpful this was for me and I want the same and more for others.

It is an honour to have been a part of the journey of recovery for many and I would like to continue to be that for a long time to come.

We all need help, support, a shoulder and some expertise sometimes in life. Let me be that for you. Just one human being helping another human being.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY?

I felt really seen by Emma. She saw what was going on for me and helped me work through trauma that I had not realised was trauma, and was holding me back in life. After a few previous experiences of therapy, it was a relief to walk away feeling like something deep had shifted for me, for my life.

Emma is warm and empathic. I was able to open up and talk to her about things I had not ever voiced out loud before.

I was apprehensive about therapy, but am so glad I took the step. Working with Emma helped me more than I could imagine.
